Robert Brenot

Robert Brenot, age 86 of Toledo passed away on the morning of Monday March 13th at UTMC.Bob was a veteran of the Korean War, his proudest time was served aboard the USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31), where he told many tales of the South China Seas. The values he learned through his experiences in the US Navy served as a guiding force thru his life even inspiring his grandson to follow in his footsteps.He retired from Libbey Owens Ford and spent countless hours serving as the Commander of the local VFW Post. For many years Bob also served as a board member at Glass City Credit Union; he also donated to several different charities for veterans.He is survived by his stepsons, Bob (Wanda) Peacock, Mike (Mary) Luffy, Howard (Karen) Luffy; grandchildren, Brad Luffy, Erin Livingston, Eric Luffy, Amber Peacock, Rob Peacock; 9 great grandchildren.
