Raymond Kromenacker, 49, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo to Raymond V. and Judith (Francis) Kromenacker on October 17, 1971. Ray was married to his loving wife, Renee for 15 wonderful years, and together they were active members of Hope Community Church in Oregon. He worked for many years for Welch Packaging as the die room coordinator, as well as Oregon City Schools as a custodian. Ray was a diehard OSU Buckeyes fan and enjoyed Tae Kwon Do. He was a hardworking family man with a great sense of humor. Everyone who met him became family; their needs becoming more important than his own. Ray loved to gather with friends and family and was always up for a meal at Beirut. Ray is survived by his wife, Renee; children, Madeline Schroeder, Liam Kromenacker; siblings, Steve (Angie) Kromenacker, Kelly Kromenacker, Joe Kromenacker; and many extended family members; friends; and his beloved church family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Andrew Kromenacker. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 11, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Hope Community Church, 5650 Starr Ext, Oregon, OH 43616, where a Funeral Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Those planning on attending are asked to please wear a mask and keep socially distanced. Anyone unable to attend may view the service via live stream by visiting Ray’s tribute page on the Walker Funeral Home website. In lieu of flowers, Ray’s family suggests donations be made to the church. Arrangements were handled by Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Walbridge (419-666-3121).
