Raymond Jasman, 62, died on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at his residence in Erie, Michigan. He was born in Bay City, Michigan to Emmanuel and Myrtle (Coyer) Jasman on Monday, December 11, 1950. Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was affectionately known as 'The Music Man', 'Boogi' and 'The Jazz Man'. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Dick, Rusty and Ron Jasman. Surviving are his loving wife, Sherry (Gilbert) Jasman; children, Sherry, Corey and Brittney Jasman; brothers, Bob and Dennis; sisters, Nancy, Jackie, Linda and MaryAnn; mother-in-law, Jan Bowman; grandchildren, Lilly, Nathan and Zoey; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project would be greatly appreciated.
