Phyllis Jean Mcvicker

Phyllis Jean McVicker, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away, Friday February 18, 2011 at Flower Hospital. She was born December 26, 1924 to Jerome and Helen Hilt. Phyllis married Albert Glen McVicker in 1945. A lifelong Toledoan, dedicated her life to her family and she was a wonderful mother and friend to her family and friends. The heart of her family, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen; son-in-law Joe Wawrzyniak, and brother, George Hilt. Phyllis is survived by her beloved children: Pam Wawrzyniak, George (Joyce) McVicker, Sandy (Ken) Young, Doug McVicker, Carol (Chris) Gaffney: grandchildren: Tom and Linda Wawrzyniak, Bette Sakowski, Kara, Connor and Aaron Young, Lucas and Joshua McVicker, Kimberly and Nicholas Gaffney, and great-grandchildren: Simon and Sophia Sakowski. Visitation for Phyllis will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Monday, February 21, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services are 10:00 am on Tuesday. Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
