Phyllis Kershner

Phyllis Kershner, age 72, of Toledo, died June 25, 2023 at Otterbein of Perrysburg. She was born March 25, 1951 to Mr. & Mrs. James L. (Miriam Smith) Freels. She was a 1969 graduate of Whitmer High School; a 1970 graduate of the Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture and a 1980 graduate of Mercy College, School of Nursing, where she spent the next 30 years taking care of others She was a devoted mother and Mimi and devoted to her extended family and friends. Phyllis loved the Holidays, and her flower garden.She was patient and kind and a very compassionate person.Survived by her daughter, Leslie (Ben) David; granddaughter, Amelia and many other relatives and friends.Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, 419-269-1111) on Wednesday from 4 until 8 P.M.
