Phyllis Hawk

Phyllis A. Hawk died September 21, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. Born June 16, 1927 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of William and Helen Pope. Phyllis worked for Washington Local Schools for many years in the cafeteria. She was a longtime member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church where she worked several funerals and enjoyed sewing with the quilting ladies. Phyllis enjoyed meeting new people, traveling and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and daughter-in-law Rose Heilman. Phyllis is survived by her son, William, daughters Wanda and Linda, sister and brother-in-law Mary and William Plenz, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Per her request, there will be no funeral or visitation. A private burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park. The family greatly appreciates the kind and compassionate assistance of the Toledo and Perrysburg staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
