Philip Noel Myers

Philip Noel Myers, 86 and Martha Evelyn Early, 83 both passed away at their residence in Holland, Ohio January 2022. They met in college and were married from 1960 until their deaths.

Phil graduated from Ohio State University where he obtained a credential as an electrical engineer. Martha graduated from Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana, then later Ohio State University Medical School where she received her medical degree. She became a pathologist and worked several years at St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, OH.

Philip was the son of Cletus Shenk Myers and Mabel Velda Clopper Myers, Martha, the daughter of Paul Miller Early and Mary Irene Vore Early. Philip was predeceased by his brother Darrell Wayne Myers. Martha was predeceased by her brother Harold Vore Early and her sister Gladys Myrth Early Hesson.

Philip is survived by his sisters Barbara Kathleen Myers Garber, Carol Virginia Myers Herbert, and Karen Sue Tucker. Martha is survived by her sisters Rose Marie Slemmons, Frances Mae Early Core, and Ruth Ann Early.

They are both survived by their children Susan Jill Myers-Fitch, Ellen June Myers Bargar, Amy Beth Myers, and Benjamin Keith Myers; and also their grandchildren Paul Galen Bargar, Camden Thomas Fitch, and Grace Emmanuelle Bargar.

Philip and Martha loved classical music, and reading books to each other.
