Peggy Sparks

Peggy Jean Sparks ,Loving mother, Peggy Jean Sparks, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2023 surrounded by family. She was born to John and Mary Etta Sparks on May 27th 1946. She was a 1965 graduate of Scott High School. Peggy was a devoted Christian and active member of Calvary Assemblies of God in Toledo Ohio, for over 45 years. Peggy loved being a greeter at Calvary church and volunteering to serve at Calvarys Events. She was passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others. Peggy worked at South Air Lounge for over 25 years with one of her dearest friends Kay Etu. She left there and worked at Fairview Nursing Home as an Activities Coordinator for over 15 years. Peggy spent most of her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved going to movies, parks, the zoo, and various other adventures. Peggy was kind, loving, and thoughtful. She was loved by everyone she met. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room.Peggy is preceded in death by her Parents, John and Mary Etta Sparks, Daughter Tracey Ann Sparks, sister Betty Creager, brother Bill Sparks. Peggy is survived by her son Paul and (Theresa)Sparks, daughter Mona and (John Perales), Jude Day; Sisters Nettie Gentile, Joann Starks, Grandsons Joshua Perales, Jon Paul Sparks, Dylan and (Autum)Sparks, Carson and Gavin Sparks, granddaughter Taylor and (Matthew) Meehan. Great Grand Children, Jocelyn and Jayla Perales, Kiera and Aria Sparks, Kaden, Paisley, and Emmett Sparks, Patton and Josephine Meehan. Special friends, Kay and (Joe) Etue, and Rosalyn Malti-Deo.A Visitation will be held on Thursday October 12th, 2023 at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, Ohio, 43613.
