Peggy Jean Dotson

Peggy Jean Dotson, aged 91, crossed over peacefully in the early morning hours of April 20, 2022 in Ft Myers, FL. She was a 30 year resident of Cape Coral, FL and resided in Oregon, OH prior. Born Jan 29, 1931 to Robert and Stella Voss Henderson in Jackson, TN, she graduated from Humes High School, Memphis, TN in 1949. She met the love of her life, Arthur J. Dotson, on a blind date in Memphis. After his return from the Korean War, they married in Toledo, OH in 1953. In addition to being a nurturing mother, doting wife and cherished aunt, Peggy enjoyed traveling to visit with family and friends, reading, watching PBS TV series and The Ohio State football and basketball games. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceeded in death by a brother, William Thomas "Buddy" Henderson and sister, Elizabeth Ann Joyner. She was the last of a generation of brothers and sisters-in-law. She is survived by sons Ronald of Cape Coral, FL and Kenneth of Toledo and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.Internment is at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park where a private service took place.
