Paulette Faye Colombo, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 14, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, she was raised in Walbridge and built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Paulette was a devoted mother to her daughters, Ashley and Amy (John), and a beloved grandmother to Sydnee (Branden) Short, Rylee (Alex) Colombo-Teachout, and Carter Behlmer. She found great joy in watching her grandchildren thrive, whether on the softball field or volleyball courts and in recent years, her grandson’s many sporting events. Her unwavering support and pride in their accomplishments were evident to all who knew her.

Paulette embraced life with a love for casino trips, Ohio State Buckeyes football, and cheering on her family in every endeavor. Her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who knew her.

She is survived by her brother, Paul (Tammi) Spencer, and sister, Paula (Mike) Hudak, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pauline (Deal) Spencer, and daughter, Abbey Marie, whom she held close in her heart.

Friends will be received at the Robert Shank Chapel at Sunrise Cremations and Funerals , Walbridge (701 N. Main St.) on Monday February 3, 2025 from 2 PM until the time of Services at 7 PM In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in her memory.

A celebration of Paulette’s life will be held at a later date. She always enjoyed a party so her family will make sure she has a great one in her honor.

She will be remembered for her love, her laughter, and the unwavering devotion she gave to those she held dear. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Perrysburg Cancer Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
