Paul Andrew Zachel

Paul Andrew Zachel, 71, of Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio – Ebeid in Sylvania, OH. He was born on June 1, 1952 in Toledo to Harry Andrew and Sixta Zachel.

Paul grew up in the catholic church and served as an altar boy at Little Flower. He attended Rogers High School and later graduated from the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Paul worked for a few years for OCF in Kentucky before returning to Toledo.

Paul was a talented musician and artist. He loved watching older tv shows, like Rifleman, Bonanza and Gunsmoke, cooking shows and was also a huge sci-fi fan when it came to shows and movies. He enjoyed trying different restaurants and gardening as well as fishing and walking through the Botanical Gardens. Paul also liked to skateboard and even made his own. He will be remembered for his wonderful sense of Humor.

He is survived by his sister, Katherine Zachel. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Theresa.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
