Patricia L. Sutherland

Patricia L. Sutherland, 91, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 1, 2023.Patricia was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on August 22, 1932 to Dolan and Anne Limber. In 1955, she marriedCharles Sutherland, who predeceased her in 1997.Patricia was a long-time educator, having taught at Washington Local Schools with a career that spanned 42 years. She taught at the former Hopewell Elementary and ended her career at Jefferson Junior High School. She loved her time as a teacher.Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her mother Anne Griffin, her father Dolan Limber, and her stepfather Joseph Griffin. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Sandra) Sutherland, Judith (Charles) Freels and Elizabeth (Mike) Schermerhorn and her stepbrothers, Joseph Griffin, (Peggy McGurrin) and Donald Griffin, (Vicky Orlowski). She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Family and friends may visit on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Road,Toledo, Ohio.
