Toledo, Ohio

Pamela Ann (Bridge) Whitney was born on November 3, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio. She was one of four children but the only daughter born to the union of Kenneth Bridge and Patricia Ann (Roe0 Bridge. She attended Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio, graduating with the class of 1972. Pam furthered her studies at the University of Toledo where she obtained an Associate’s Degree.

Pam and her first husband, James Kudzia were blessed with the birth of two children; Ashley and Austin. To provide for her family she worked for over 20 years for Toledo Cardiology Consultants as a vascular ultrasound technician.

Pam found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a special way of making people feel loved. She had a passion for baking, and the kitchen was one of the places where she shared that love with others. Christmas was especially special, as she baked cookies that brought warmth, sweetness and tradition. Her Christmas cookies were more then just a delicious treat, they were a labor of love and a cherished part of the memories she created with those around her.

One of Pam’s most thoughtful traditions was making each person their very own birthday cake, She took the time to make every birthday feel personal and special, showing the ones she loved that they held a special place in her heart. The cookies and cakes will forever remain sweet remainders of the love she shared. Long after the last cookie was eaten and the candles were blown out, the memories of those special moments will live on.

Beyond her love of baking, Pam enjoyed traveling, whether she was taking a trip to Savannah, Georgia or enjoying Disney World with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren. She had an appreciation for antiques and the history and stories held within each treasured objects. An avid reader, she also enjoyed losing herself in a good book, finding enjoyment, knowledge and adventure within its pages. When she found time to relax and wasn’t intrigued by a good book she enjoyed watching “Antique Roadshow” or reruns of the “Lawrence Welk Show”.

Pam was a very kind and caring person who would be the first person to step in to help a person, whether they were family, friend or a stranger. Her love and caring soul knew no boundaries.

Pam’s most cherished pastime was spending time with her family, her grandchildren and her four legged companion; Nelson, the Aussie doodle.
