Pamela Sue Howard (Roundell), known to many who loved her as “Aunt Pam” was called to Heaven on April 23, 2022 following a short, but hard fought battle with cancer. Pam was comforted in her passing by loving family members at her side and the amazing nurses, doctors and clergy at The Cleveland Clinic. She was undoubtedly welcomed to eternal life by her dad “Tiny,” Grandma Eva Radtke and her grandparents Angeline and George Roundell.
Pam was born November 7, 1965 to Nora Roundell (Radtke) and Norman “Tiny” Roundell. She graduated from Springfield High School in Holland, Ohio in 1984 where she was an avid cheerleader. Pam was a dedicated long-time employee of Integrity Wall & Ceiling where she worked as an executive assistant. As a gambler and a fierce bingo player, Pam was never afraid to take a chance or place a bet on the underdog. She loved all kinds of music and going to concerts especially Creed and Edwin McCain. After being asked for years to bring the bag of chips to family functions, she finally learned how to bake a good batch of brownies and she beamed with pride over her new-found skill. Pam was an unparalleled scout of “four-leafers” and could spot a four leaf clover from an unbelievable distance. Pam was a true animal lover to her core and was preceded in death by her cherished furry companions, her Capuchin monkey, Andy, her ferocious feline, Fatty, her spirited deer, Comet, and her beloved dogs Bear and Missy.
Pam’s spunky and vivacious spirit allowed her to live a life full of love. Always the life of the party, her memory will live on in the hearts of those she left behind. Pam is survived by her mom, Nora Roundell (Radtke), her siblings Kellie (Don) Replogle, Jimmy (Dawn) Radtke, and Sherrie (Tony) Fitsko. Pam loved her nieces and nephews from here to the moon and back. She loved them as if they were her own children, with a little extra spoiling. Her nieces Rachel (Gabriel) Okolski and Jessica (Tim) Kenepp and her nephews Aaron (Katie) Radtke, Adam (Morgan) Radtke, and Michael Fitsko will remember fondly her quirky habits, adventurous spirit, and overflowing generosity. Her great niece, Adrianna and great nephews Liam, Parker and Baby Radtke will remember and long be regaled with tales of her energetic and fun-loving attitude, unfiltered candor, and unwavering dedication to her beliefs. It would not be unusual for Aunt Pam to ride shotgun in a Jeep Power Wheel or to pedal a toddler’s tricycle up and down the driveway. Always a little kid at heart, she loved her family with every fiber of her being. Those close to her knew, without a doubt, that Pam loved them.
Pam is dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her life will be celebrated at a graveside funeral service on Friday April 29, 2022 at 11:00AM at the Springfield Township Cemetery where she will be laid to her final rest.
