Oneta M. Stanley

Oneta M. Stanley, age 72, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Ebeid Hospice after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She was born in Toledo on October 10, 1938 to Bernard and Esther Bettinger. Oneta graduated from Bedford High School. She was employed for many years at Dunkin Donuts and Caf Donuts on Monroe Street. While working there she was also employed at Impact Products in various departments, for 26 years, retiring in 2007. She always had a smile and a twinkle in her eyes. Oneta enjoyed spending time with her family, her many, many friends and dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Esther Bettinger. Oneta is survived by her daughter, Renee (Wayne) Navarre, son, Robert (Karen) Stanley, brother, Paul (Dorothea) Bettinger, niece, Angel (Michael) Myers, her 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Greetings will begin at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 20 at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1620 Olimphia Rd, to follow with Memorial Mass of Resurrection at 10:30 am. Funeral arrangement were provided by H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home (419-473-1301). A special thanks to Onetas wonderful friends, Sandra Turner and Holly Ruckreigle for taking such fantastic care of her during the last several months.
