Norma J. Thrush

The Lord called home one of Toledos finest on Friday, December 21st, 2018. A wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, Norma J. Thrush, 86 years young, passed away at Toledo Hospital. Norma was born April 19th, 1932 to Harold and Juanita Timmons in Toledo, Ohio. As a full-time mom, she raised 8 kids and was a major influence onto the lives of her grandchildren and dozens of foster children. Her passions included her grandchildren, cooking, canning, movies, country music, puzzle books, and needle point. The foundation and positive influence that she inspired on so many lives will be felt for many generations. Norma is proceeded in death by her loving husband Wayne Thrush of 43 years, her parents and sisters; Greta Hill and Pauline Kovacs. She is survived by her brother; William Byers, her family of 8 children, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Thursday, December 27th, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Funeral services will be private.
