Norma J. Laplante

Norma J. LaPlante, 84, of Northwood, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born in Oregon, Ohio to Herman and Emma (Willard) Tober on November 5, 1936. Norma worked for many years at the Owens Community College Daycare Center. She was a longtime member of the Walbridge VFW #9963. Norma is survived by her loving children, Henry (Laura) LaPlante, Michael (Valerie) LaPlante, Christopher (Ann) LaPlante, Maria LaPlante; grandchildren, Justen; Emmalie (Nicholas) Abitua; Jennifer; Louie; Sarah (Josh) Large; Katie; and sister, Joann (Russell) Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and parents. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 21, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, OH 43465 (419-666-3121), where an Auxiliary VFW #9963 Walk through will take place at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston, OH.
