Norma J. Billings

Norma Jean Hutt Billings of Toledo passed away surrounded by loved ones Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 92. Norma was born October 2, 1929 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Glenn and Florence (Benge) Davis. She moved to Toledo after her marriage to Robert D. Hutt, which took place December 21st, 1946 in Jelloway, Ohio.Norma was a hard worker. She cleaned houses for many years, loved her garden and canning all her tomatoes. She also loved going to family reunions in Mount Vernon and taking her delicious pies. Normas specialty pies, Pumpkin, Banana Cream and Coconut cream were everyones favorite. Not only did Norma make delicious pies, she also made thousands and thousands of Christmas cookies each year. She coaxed the whole family into helping her decorate them. Friends and family couldnt wait each year to get her delicious and beautiful decorated Christmas cookies. But the most favorite thing she made that Bob and her boys couldnt stop eating were her homemade noodles!! There were always many noodles drying in the basement for the next meal. Her boys didnt call them noodles though they were Sliders. On September 11, 1999 Norma married James A Billings. They enjoyed camping in northern Michigan and hunting mushrooms. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Bob, sisters Barbara, Rozella, Joanna and brother Paul, and husband James Billings.Norma left behind to cherish her memories her three sons Bob (Donna), Gary (Deborah) and Tom (Lynn), 11 grand children, Andy, Tim, Mike, Dan, Heath, Amy, Eric, Chelsea, Tom, Doug and Sarah. 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.She also leaves seven step-daughters Sandra, Nancy, Kathleen, Diana, Beth, Laura and Amy;and special friend Judi Walters.A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church (2843 West Sterns Rd., Lambertville, MI 48144).In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Normas name to Saint Judes Childrens Hospital or to the Alzheimers Association.Her memory will bring joy to all who knew her. memorial service Saturday, December 4, 2021 11:00 AM Christ the King Lutheran Church 2843 W.
