Nina E. Shiffler

Nina E. Shiffler, age 98, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Hospice of North West Ohio. She was born in Harrisville, Michigan on December 20, 1914 to Lafayette and Ad Aellin Fuller. Nina was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working word search puzzles, completing several puzzles a day. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Guy Shiffler and sons; Richard Shiffler, Edward Shiffler, Francis Shiffler and Herman Shiffler. Nina is survived by her devoted children; Ernest (Sharon) Shiffler, Russell Shiffler, Evelyn Shelhart, Ethel Jones, Marjorie (Walter) Mattox, Shirley (Glenn) Rassman, Kay(George) McNutt, 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Visitation for Nina will be Tuesday, March 5 from 10:00 am until time of service beginning at 12:00 (noon) at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301.
