Nicholas Guba

Nicholas Guba, age 87, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his home. He was born in Tyler, Pennsylvania on October 5, 1923 to Andrew and Mary Guba. Nicholas was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Army. He was employed as a technician for the former RCA for 36 years, retiring in 1984. Nicholas enjoyed being a Ham radio operator, call letters W8BtN. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, David Guba. Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Virginia Guba, son, Daniel (Karen) Guba, daughter, Cheryl May, grandchildren, Nicole, Christopher (Courtney), Hunter, 4 great grandchildren and sister, Mary Lou (Ralph) Turner. Visitation for Nicholas will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville 419-473-1301 on Wednesday, November 3 from 4:00 pm until 8 pm. Services are in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio.
