Nathaniel Wiggins, Jr.

Nathaniel Wiggins Jr. was born in Toledo, Ohio, October 27, 1953 to Nathaniel Wiggins Sr. and Martha (Files) Wiggins. He departed this life on July 29, 2024, in his home at the age of 70 years old. He went to Ella P. Stewart Elementary School and attended Scott High School. He worked various jobs throughout his life, including maintenance work and was an all-around handyman. Nathaniel was known for being a comedian, always cracking jokes and spending time with his friends and family. He loved hanging out at City Park and on Avondale, racing down the streets to see how much rubber he could burn. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and taking road trips. He loved cooking; he was an amazing cook. He loved riding his bike all over town and visiting his people throughout his 70 years of living. Nathaniel was also known as Big Nate, Big Papi, Moosehead, and Big Junior; these were some of his nicknames that he acquired during his precious time on this earth. And to live to be 70 is a marker of a full lifespan, according to the Bible.He leaves the cherish his memory his wife, Sandra D Johnson-Wiggins; daughters, Talitha TD Smith, Leslie Sissy Matthew Hayward, Sondreya Miracle Hawkins; son, Adrian Hawkins Sr.; grandchildren, Adrian Tank Hawkins Jr., Isaiah Hawkins, Victoria Poohker Hawkins, Ben Hawkins, Albert Baby Al Laddie III, Heather Hayward, Larryeon Larry Belcher, Matthew Scooter Hayward 2;and great-grandson, Larryeon Gator Belcher II. He also leaves his brother, Kenneth Wiggins; sisters, Rosie Huggins, Ella B. Suttler, Nancy Peppers, Gwen Rose, twins, Marsha Wiggins & Marilyn Gee and Deanna Wiggins; and a host of other loving relatives and dear, dear friends.Nathaniel was proceeded in death by both parents; two brothers; and five sisters.
