Nancy Ann Gedert Nancy Ann Gedert, age 53 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2016 at her home. She was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer, stage 4 in 2013. She was born in Toledo on June 27, 1963 to Gerald and Ruth Gedert, who preceded her in death. She was employed at Kantar and Key Bank before becoming ill. Nancy graduated from Start High School in 1981, she also attended Owens and Davis Business College. Nancy is survived by her siblings, Linda (Mark) Schramm, Robert Gedert, Michael Gedert, Janet (Tom) Winkleman and Donna Robbins. She is alo survived by her nieces and nephews who she adored, Andrew (Amanda), Christopher, Beth (Matt), Anne (Keith), Heather, Jenny and Stephen. Friends and family may visitation on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, 1163 W. Sylvania Ave (419-269-1111) from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
