Mrs. Wilma Irene Rosenberger Quisno

Wilma Irene Quisno, age 71 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo to Harry and Dorothy Rosenberger on May 2, 1937. Irene graduated from Scott High School and University of Toledo. After school she was employed with Commerce National Bank, then with the City of Toledo for 33 years in the Police Department and the Tax Department, retiring in 1991. After retirement with the City of Toledo, she was a Lecturer at University of Toledo in Business Technology.Irenes memberships included Scott High School and University of Toledo Alumni Society, Black Swamp Society Poker Club, and Conn Weissenberger Post. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Merle Rosenberger.Irene is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Wes Jim Quisno, sons, Aaron Quisno, Abel (Tiffany) Quisno, grandsons, Abel AJ Quisno Jr., Benjamin Quisno, step children, Daniel (Anna) Quisno, Star (Jeff) Liford, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Irene is also survived by her brothers, Daniel Rosenberger, Duane (Sandy) Rosenberger, Jack Rosenberger, Neil (Joy) Rosenberger and devoted sister, Veronica (Steve) Kaiser, along with several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Wednesday, March 25, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with funeral services to follow at 1:00 pm.
