Mrs. Laura Mae Cook

Laura M. Cook, age 72 of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Flower Hospital. Laura was born in Dunbridge, Ohio to Earl and Mary Frantz. She was employed with Kroger's for over 23 years, retiring in 1990 and President of the Retires Club U.F.C.W. 911 for the last 7 years. Laura was preceded in death by her father, Earl Frantz; mother, Mary Baker and uncle, Myron. Surviving are her beloved husband, Thomas L. Cook; son, Scott (Sue) Cook, of St Croix, USVI; daughter, Kay (David) Rutkowski; sisters, Patsy Gaines, MaryAnn (Donald) Black; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Ross) Graves and three grand dogs, Snickers, Bailey and Annie; along with many nieces, nephews and dear close friends. Visitation will be at the H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis Rd) 419-473-1301 on Sunday, October 28, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jerry Craig officiating.
