After her stroke I immediately knew how much I counted on her because I got lost on the way to the hospital and she was always my navigator. Not only was she my navigator while driving she was the navigator in our lives and she will always be my guiding light. Annie had a big heart and lived her life always wanting to do something for others. Annie always kept a note pad on the kitchen counter her things to do list. More often than not, her list was about picking up something for Mike or do something for Heather or dropping something off for Brandy. Annie's favorite thing to was to go shopping for good deals at stores and garage sales with her close friends Louann, Anita, and Vernie. When I would come home from work Annie was so proud of her finds that she would have them on display. Most of the things she would buy were not for herself. They were for someone else, just in case they needed it. She was always thinking of others. I never liked carrying a cell phone but thankfully I had it on our trip to Florida. It was my lifeline back home. I never realized how much I counted on friends, neighbors, and relatives. The phone meant everything to me when I was alone. Thank you to everyone who helped support me when I was alone. Thankfully Annie has a brother, Richie, and his girlfriend, Carol, who took me in and with their kindness got me through it. I can't imagine what would have happened without them. Annie was the centerpiece of our household and was the main guidance in bringing up two beautiful daughters. Our Lives revolved around her. They say the older you get the wiser you get but when this happened to Annie I now know the true meaning of desperation, loneliness, and the feeling of being lost. When the doctors told me that their was no hope for Annie and she wasn't going to live much longer I kept asking myself why is her life being cut short. I was hoping for another 36 years. I guess only God knows for sure. Now I'm trying to accept that it was her time to be in peace and go to heaven. Anyone who ever knew Annie knows she will be welcomed with open arms into heaven. All we can do now is accept the fact that Annie is at peace and she is in the arms of the lord. I thank the lord for letting me have 36 wonderful years of marriage with Annie. Annie still is and will always be my navigator and my guiding light forever.Love Always,Mike
