Mr. Thomas W Halter

HALTER Thomas W. Thomas W. Halter, age 57, of Toledo, Ohio, died August, 31, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo on June 15, 1951, to Jakob and Dorothy Halter. Tom was employed as a repair mechanic with Daimler-Chrysler-Jeep for 28 years, retiring in 2006. He loved boating, restoring boats and fishing. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Jakob Halter. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Halter; siblings, Roy Halter, Edward (Jody) Halter, John (Pat) Halter, Karl Halter, Ricky Halter, James Halter, Norman Halter, Carolyn Bryan; long-time friend, Carol Kanfield and his four legged companion, Snickers. Visitation will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Wednesday, September 3, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society.
