Mr. Steve Bock

R. Steven Bock, age 57, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, died Sunday, September 23, 2007, in Flint, Michigan from acute myologenous leukemia. He was a graduate of Start High School and Ohio State University. R. Steven had a 30 years career in law enforcement. He began his career with Lucas County as a probation officer then moved to Michigan Dept. of Corrections, most recently as the manager of electronic monitoring Centers in Flint and Lansing area. R. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Bock and mother, Dorothy Bock Thornton. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Barbara Bock; sister, Cathy McQueen and brother, Brian (Sandy) Bock. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis Rd.) 419-473-1301 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 23297 Commerce Park, Cleveland, Ohio 44122.
