Mr. John J Gould

In the early hours of Thursday, October 9, 2008, John left this life surrounded by his family and his loving wife of 29 years, Julie. John's life was shaped by his service to his Country. A highly decorated Air Force veteran, John served in Vietnam from 1968-1971. He was awarded four bronze stars during two tours of duty. He was a 1964 graduate of Central Catholic High SchoolJohn celebrated his life with a deep love of family, the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He had a 25 year career with Conrail. John is survived by wife Julie (Fravor) Gould, daughter, Stephanie (Andrew) Ferguson; grandsons, Nathan and Jacob Kowalski; mother, Doris Gould; sister, Mary Driscoll, brother, James Gould, many nieces and nephews and faithful dog Odie. John was preceded in death by his father, Henry H. Gould.Visitation will be held at the H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home 3219 Tremainsville Road (at Alexis Road) on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
