Mr. James R. Myles, Jr.

James R. Myles Jr.James R. Myles Jr., age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Flower Hospital.. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 24, 1922 to James and Pauline Myles Sr. James was a WW II veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. He and his wife, Dorice were very active with the Girl Scouts of America. James was a brick layer, employed through Local #3, retiring in 1985. After retirement he became a member of Local #3 retirees group. James was preceded in death by his wife, Dorice Myles, son, James Myles III, and daughter, Marilyn Hendricks.He is survived by his sons, Kent (Karen) Myles, Kurt Myles, daughter-in-law, Ivy Myles, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister, Gail (Bobby) Talton.Memorial visitation will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Tuesday, September 2 from 4:00pm until 6:00 pm with Memorial services at 6:00 pm.Memorial contributions may be given to Camp Libby Girl Scout Camp.
