Michael J. Patterson

Michael J. Patterson, age 73 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with his loving family by his side. He was born in Toledo on August 8, 1941 to James and Ella Patterson. He graduated from Whitmer High School and University of Toledo with a Masters Degree in Economics. Michael was employed with Owens Illinois as a corp. pilot for over 30 years. He was a life-time member of Gesu Catholic Church and an avid golfer. He is survived by his devoted children, Jennifer Patterson, Michael W. (Elizabeth) Patterson, Susan Patterson, step-son, Paul (Elizabeth) Thebo, grandchildren, Gabriella, Julian, Jacob, John and Dargan. Also he is survived by his brother, William (Ann) Patterson, best friend Mary Thebo and extended family. Visitation will be on Friday, August 7 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (419-473-1301). A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 8 at Gesu Church, 2049 Parkside, Toledo.
