Melvin Martin Bowser Jr., 83 years, of Holland, passed away on Friday May 4, 2018. "Junior", as he was known by many, enjoyed New York Yankees baseball games, building and fixing everything, joking with his sons, and he loved classic cars. Junior was a very hard worker and was proud to be a Toledo Jeep retiree. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Sr.; mother, Margaret (Kajewski) Bowser; his wife of 56 years, LouAnn (Hutchinson) Bowser; his oldest son, Dirk Bowser; sister, Katherine Klausing; brother, Donald Bowser Sr. Surviving are his sons: Dan of Mesa, AZ; Joe (Michele) of Brunswick, MD.; Chris (Debbie) of Lima, Peru; Bill (Deb) of Liberty Center, OH; and Corey (Andrea) of Toledo, OH; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; siblings: Robert Bowser, Liberty Center; Norman (Ruth) Bowser, Toledo; Danny (Marty) Bowser, Lambertville; William Bowser, Toledo; Larry Bowser, Holland; Dave Bowser, Delta; Steve (Brenda) Bowser, Swanton; Rose Plotner of Delta. Lorri Bowser (wife of Dirk) provided an incredible amount of care and support for Dad over the later years in his life. Dad GREATLY appreciated Lorri! Friends will be received for interment services starting at 10:00am Thurs. May 10, 2018 at Swanton Township Cemetery (3031 Scott Rd., Swanton, OH).
