Melville Bud Briner

Melville F. Briner, age 99, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 17, 1916 to John and Louise Briner. Melville was employed as a truck driver for Home Builders Supply for 30 years, retiring in 1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ruby Briner, son, Melville Briner and sisters, Gredy and Dorothy. Melville is survived by his daughters, Shirley (Jose) Encalado, Violet (Bruce) Birkenkamp and Ivah Elliott, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. 419-473-1301.
