Melinda L. Mackay

Melinda L. MacKay, age 56, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, Ohio. She was born in Toledo on November 22, 1958 to Gerald and Jean Rogge. She was a graduate of Bedford High School. Melinda was employed with Jeep for 30 years, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed reading and visiting with her friends. She also loved her four legged pets. Melinda always put her family and friends first and had their best interest at heart. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tracy Rogge. Melinda is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Ronald MacKay and devoted son, Aaron MacKay. Visitation will be Monday, October 5 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, Ohio (419-473-1301). Sharing of Memories will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park in Chapel of Peace, WO 612, Tier 1, Crypt G.
