Maryjaen B. Peiffer

MaryJaen (Hull) Peiffer, 96, of Toledo, OH passed away on October 27, 2021 at Spring Meadows in Holland, OH. She was born on January 5, 1925 in Toledo to Chester C. and Florence M (Foist) Hull. She married Wilmer Peiffer on December 8, 1943 and they spent 45 together before his passing in 1989. MaryJaen had been a sickly child amongst her siblings growing up but ended up out living all of them and became the longest-lived member of her family. MaryJaen had a loving heart and laid claim to any child. She loved needlework and was known for her crocheting, knitting, sewing, and even tatting. MaryJaen is survived by her loving children, Michael, John (Joan), Catherine Darnell, Elizabeth (Dr. Gary) Deems, Maryanna Oien and Judith (Ricky) May; 21 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Vivian Schuster, George, Glen and Dale Hull. A special Thank you to her son Michael for all the Loving care he provided to her over the years – All of us siblings greatly appreciate all that you did for her. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a scripture service to be held at 6:30 pm in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879) A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
