Mary E. (Haas) Tolson

Mary E. (Haas) Tolson, 93 of Holland, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Holgate, Ohio. She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on February 13, 1927 to Lester and Helen (Smith) Haas. Mary graduated from Libbey High School and married Bernard Tolson in Toledo on October 25, 1947. Mary worked for Sunshine Communities as a cook. She was a devout catholic at Immaculate Conception Marygrove. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ronald Tolson; grandson, Josh Tolson; siblings, Bernard Haas, Paul Haas, Catherine Moye and Lester Haas. She is survived by children, Linda (Jim) Grosteffon, Gary (Eileen) Tolson, James (Cecilia) Tolson, Rebecca (Rodney) Schell, Jeffrey (Tammy) Tolson, Gregory Tolson and Bernadette (Michael) Tambone; 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Lemle, Thelma Lemon, Thomas Haas, and Gilbert Haas. Friends will be received at Neville Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM. A funeral mass will be in Immaculate Conception Marygrove Church, 1750 N. Raab Rd., Swanton, Ohio 43558 on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 11 AM with burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
