Mary Ann Snyder

Mary Ann Moey Snyder, age 85 of Toledo passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at her home. Mary Ann was born on August 22, 1929 to Stephen and Frances (Bacik) Koogan in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Howard Snyder on March 7, 1971 in Toledo. Mary Ann worked for many years in the Washington Local Schools and retired from Gladieux Catering at age 80. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping for bargains, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters; Mildred Rex, Helen McCroskey, and Dorothy Hoffman, and twin brother, Robert Koogan. Mary is survived by her loving children; Debbie Stieb, Sandy (Brian) Hairabedian, and Gary (Michelle) Snyder, grandchildren; Levi, Cherish, Adam, Carl, KaSandra, and Lauren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Bill (Marlene) Koogan, and beloved little dog, Mollie. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 3 until 8PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home; 1163 W. Sylvania Ave. 419-269-1111 with a prayer Service to be held at 7PM. A Mass or Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, July 7 at 10:00AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church; 2955 Dorr St. with Fr. Jim Bacik, Celebrant. Mary Ann will lie in state 1 hour prior to services at Church. Burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home, Toledo, OH.
