Mary L. Jones

Mary Louise Jones, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and care givers. Born in Toledo, she spent her life caring for others and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Mary was the loving wife of 65 years to her beloved husband, Charles P. Jones who preceded her in death on 12/17/2024. She was a dedicated mother to her son Gregg Jones (Martha), daughter Michele Helsel (Mike Adams), daughter Kerri Jones (Timothy Miller), and daughter Stefani Soulidis (Archie Soulidis). She was a proud and nurturing grandmother to Michael Helsel, Brenden Helsel, Taegan Miller, and Karstyn Soulidis. She is also survived by dear sisters-in-law, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Roberta Wettle, and her brothers Arthur, Robert, and Charles Wettle

She had a deep love for all children and a strong devotion to her Catholic faith, which guided her life with kindness, compassion, and grace. She will be remembered for her selflessness, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville, Toledo, OH 43613. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Mary will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
