Mary Sue Johnson

Mary Sue (Emerick) Johnson, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 of complications from Alzheimer’s. She was 87 years old. Sue was born in Marlington, West Virginia, raised in southern Ohio, North Toledo and Holland, Ohio. She attended Ohio Wesleyan and Lourdes College. She was a noted metaphysician and Tarot card reader. She read for Toledo Politicians, business leaders and others. Sue also taught and lectured about this at Unity Church and in her home. Sue spent 5 years in Sequim, Washington and she enjoyed getting to know the Indians in that area by attending powwows, canoe races and drumming circles. In her spare time, she wrote 13 books and raised her family of Shelby, Stacey, and Sondra. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). Burial will be held privately in Riverside Cemetery in Maumee. Memorial contributions may be made to Mind Redo Clinic.
