Mary Ellen ThompsonMary Ellen Thompson, age 83 of Sylvania, Ohio, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Kingston Care Center. She was born in Toledo on September 9, 1924 to Harold and Mae Hancox. Mary was employed with Trinity Episcopal Church as their secretary and Jobst Institute in the purchasing department for 20 years, retiring in 1989. Mary loved to spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by her devoted daughters, Janet (Robert) Warren, Lana (James) Moscrop, grandchildren, Addison (Cassie) Warren, Spencer (Rebecca) Warren, Adrienne Moscrop, great grandchildren, Gabe and Kylie Rose, sister, Virginia Connors and nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2008 at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with Memorial Service to follow at 6:00 pm.Memorial contributions may be given to Southern Care Hospice, 6545 W.
