Mary Bath

Mary E. Bath (nee Knepper, formerly Schwartzwalder) passed away at the age of 85-1/2yrs. at The Manor at Perrysburg on July 20, 2026. She loved children. She was retired....having worked for many, many years for the Lake Local School system. She started as a playground monitor and then progressed by driving the regular school bus, and then the handicapped school bus, and finally ended her career driving the school van for the Special Needs kids. She won an award for "Bus Driver of The Year for Northwestern Ohio". Mary was born on Feb. 06, 1941, in Forest, Ohio, to Paul and Bonnie (nee Henry, later Franz) Knepper. Mary is survived by her Son Terry Schwartzwalder, her Daughter Lisa Ann Coleman, Grandson Tyler Coleman, Great Granddaughter Delaney Coleman, step-Brother William Franz, and Sister-in-Law Donna Bath (Serviss) along with several Cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Brother's Norman Knepper and Rex Knepper.

A funeral service will be held on Aug. 24, 2026 at the Sunrise Cremation (formerly Witzler-Shank) funeral home in Walbridge, Ohio, at 701 N. Main St. Reception of guests for viewing is to begin at 9am, with a short service at Noon, followed by interment at Restlawn Memorial cemetary at I-420 and St. Rt.163 in Troy Township, Wood county, Ohio. A catered reception/luncheon is to follow all of the proceedings at the Walbridge Municipal Building, 705 N. Main St., which is next door to the funeral home.
