Martha Jane MunozMartha J. Munoz, age 84 died on Tuesday September 13, 2022 at her home in Toledo, OH surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 26, 1938 in Richmond, KY. The daughter of Webb and Mary Jones (Dunaway). Martha Jane moved all over the United States but resided in Toledo, OH for the past 35 years. On March 5, 1960, she married David Munoz in Dayton, OH. Martha Jane worked at Darlington House , as a nurses aid, taking care of patients for 20 years. She loved her birds and her dogs. She also loved making cakes, crocheting and watching Hallmark movies. She spent most of her time taking care of her children, then her grand children and then her great grand children. Martha Jane loved her family and was the happiest when she was with them.She is survived by her husband David, her five children Jimmie(Janice) Picklesimer of Illinois, Douglas(Karen) Munoz of Troy, OH, Saundra (Jeff) Middleton of Toledo, OH, Juanita(Jeff) Szymanski of Toledo, OH, and Jordan(Sarah) Munoz of Toledo, OH. Her grand children Valerie (Roger) Hall, Mary Ann Ploski, Jimmie Jr, Scott & James Munoz, Eric(Kristin) Middleton, Jeremy (Kayla) Middleton, Christina (James) Smallwood , Heather(Ben) Gaisie, Heather & Michael Szymanski, Madison, Royce & Olivia Munoz, her 18 great grand children and her two sisters, Ida Lewis and Josie(Kenneth) Anderson. She is proceeded in death by her parents Webb & Mary Jones, her sister Margie Noland and her son David Munoz Jr.Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 20th at 11:00 am @ Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home. 3219 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo, OH. The family will receive friends @ Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home Monday September 19th from 4:00-8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
