December 19, 1927 — December 7, 2020

Marjorie Wilcox, 92, of Newark, Ohio passed away in the care of Heartland of Perrysburg on December 7, 2020. Marjorie was born on December 19, 1927 to the late Alvin Miller and Stella Sepos in Wilmington, Delaware. She graduated in May of 1945 from Newark Senior High School and began working that same year for William S. Moore, Inc. until 1948. She married Ivan F. Wilcox on March 20, 1948 and together, they raised six children. After the children had grown up, she began work at Klines Department Store from November of 1979 until the store closed in 1983. Apart from her nature as a dedicated and hardworking employee, she will be remembered for her love of reading, putting together puzzles, doing word searches, and playing bingo. Most of all, she will be remembered for her quiet and shy nature, never wanting the attention, but always valuing the great gift of time together as a family. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ivan F. Wilcox, Jr. (Barbara), Marilyn L. Miller (Dave), Beverly S. Rockey (Patrick), Donald L. Wilcox and Steven R. Wilcox (Cherie); as well as 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren who were well loved by Marjorie. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan Wilcox; son, Robert Wilcox; grandchildren Jason and Robert Jr.; and great granddaughter, Destiny. At Marjorie's request, funeral services will not be held, inurnment will follow at a date to be announced next year at Cedar Hills Cemetery in Newark, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879).
