It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Marietta M. Marvin who passed away peacefully in her home on September 22, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, source of love, pride and laughter.Throughout her life, Marietta enjoyed spending her time snowmobiling and boating until she retired from Dana Corporation after 40 years of service. Marietta and her husband, Richard Marvin, adored sharing their summers at Bird lake in Osseo, MI with family and friends. During the cold Michigan winters, they cherished spending each winter in Bradenton, FL, soaking up the great weather and company of their beloved friends and neighbors. No matter the season, Marietta shared her passion for serving as the hostest with the mostest: cooking for holidays, facilitating fabulous parties, playing Skip-Bo and poker with friends, and sharing her homes with those she loved so dearly.Marietta is survived by two loving children: Harvey Dale Dusseau (Renee Poole) and daughter Denise Digby (Dave), cherished grandchildren Justin Dusseau (Katie), Celina Dusseau, and David Digby Jr (Celeste Peer), and great-grandchildren Jackson, Paisley, Bront, Nash and Raegan. She is preceded in death by her father and mother Edwin and Mary Holly, husband Richard Marvin, sister Carol Lee Baumgartner, and nephews Rick and Scott Baumgartner. She will be deeply missed by many and forever loved by all. We love you mom Marietta will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Cemetery in Sylvania, OH where the memorial services will be private. The family would like to thank you for your kind words and gifts.
