Margaret Wannemacher Dorn

Margaret M. Kennedy Wannemacher Dorn, age 84, formally of Lake Placid, Florida and Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Wood Haven Health Care Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on March 8, 1927 to James P. and Margaret Kennedy. Margaret was employed as a key punch operator for Lucas County Clerk of Courts, then worked for Dana Corp. for 24 years, retiring in 1989. She was preceded in death by her 1st. husband, Benedict Benny Wannemacher, her parents, and her siblings, James Kennedy, John Kennedy, William Kennedy, Annie Rockwell and Dorothy Phillips. Margaret is survived by her husband, Richard Dorn, loving daughters, Barbara (Glen) Long, Susan Wannemacher, grandchildren Todd (Teresa) Long, Stephen Woggon, Joshua Woggon, 3 great grandchildren, and brother Patrick Kennedy. Step-children, Donald Dorn, Richard Dorn, Linda (George) Myers, Janice (Timothy) Kennedy, James Dorn, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Visitation for Margaret will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Friday January 13th. from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with funeral service at 7:00 pm on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association, Alzheimer Association, Wood Haven Health Care or to Heartland Hospice.
