Lynda Chaney, age 77, passed away on December 2, 2025. Lynda was born in Toledo, OH to Paul Hornyak and Helen Hornyak. Lynda married Sherman Chaney on August 19,1969 in Toledo, Ohio. Engaged to Barry Draft 2003She was preceded in death by Paul Hornyak (Father), Helen Jane Hornyak (Mother), Paul Hornyak (Brother), Gerald Hornyak (Brother), Sherman Chaney (Spouse), Barry Draft (Fiancé)

She left behind Yvonne Phillips (Daughter), Andrew Phillips (Son-in-law), Yvette Wesolowski, (Daughter), Mike Wesolowski (Son-in-law), Terry Pringle (Grandson), Beilah Wesolowski (Granddaughter), Mayim Wesolowski (Granddaughter), Lydia Wesolowski (Granddaughter), Judy Hornyak (Sister-in-law), Mary Hornyak (Sister- in- law).

She loved to travel with family and to visit family in TN and FL

She had a zeal for making the most of life especially when she was young with her sister in law Judy. Like her father she made friends with everyone she met whether in person or online. She loved to laugh. Her family and friends said she had an infectious laugh. She did crafts like crochet and needlepoint.

She graduated from Cardinal Stritch high school. She was a lab technician her entire career until she retired and started traveling. She married Sherman in 1969 and had two daughters. She met the next love of her life Barry in 1998 and was with him till he passed a few years later.
