Lurline "Dubby" Ruckman

Lurline “Dubby” Ruckman, 90, of Holland, OH went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 4, 1931 in Toledo, OH to John Sanders and Mary Jane (Hogue) Richardson. Dubby married Russell H. Ruckman on July 31, 1949 at the Church of the First Born in Holland, OH.

Dubby was a 43 year member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Perrysburg, OH. She was very active in church, teaching Sunday School and prayer chains. Dubby was a prayer warrior, who taught many family members and friends how to pray.

Dubby is survived by her sister, Jackie Davis; her children, Ike (Linda) Ruckman, Richard (Patti) Ruckman, Christina (Jeff) Smith, and Randall (Laurie) Ruckman; grandchildren, Angela (Dr. Jon) Guillaume, Laurie (PA. Todd) Mundy, Derek (Jill) Ruckman, Sarah (Aaron) Tiplady, Matthew (Bethany) Ruckman, Rachel (David) Nicol, Craig Bailey, Joshua (Kayleigh) Smith, Jesse (Alona) Smith, Hydie (Ryan) Gorsuch, Brandy (Jason) Cook, Jennifer (Kris) Teague, Aidra (Rob) Recker, Vince (Bridget) Dombrowski; 45 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Richardson; loving husband, Russell H. Ruckman, Sr.; and infant daughters, Mary Berniece and Victoria Lynn; grandson, Andrejs Ruckman; sisters, Ada Mae Schooner and Esther Richardson; brothers, Robert, Albert, James, John, Thomas, and Ralph Henry Richardson. She was the oldest living Richardson in her family and she will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Assembly of God, 665 W. Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Assembly of God.
