Lupe Sanchez

Lupe A. Sanchez, 97, of Toledo passed away June 5th, 2017. She was born in Bexar county, Texas in July 1919 to Willie and Maria Andrade. She moved to Toledo in 1948. Retired from A&P Food Store, where she was a member of the UFCW union. After moving to Chicago, she worked at Omni Medical Co, as an engineer and interpreter. She was also part of 'Star Wars' sound team. After returning to Toledo, she was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Clement's Church, and Club Scout Den Mother. She loved being with family and playing her Mexican music, reading plus traveling. Preceded in death by husband John, son Ricardo, mother, father, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. She is survived by John (Valerie) Herbert, Patricia Sanchez Heigel, and Joel (Marge); 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Memorial service Tuesday June 13th at Saints Peters & Paul, 728 S. St. Clair St. at 10:00 am with mass to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to 'Wounded Warriors' in Lupe's memory.
