Lorenzo Toth Diaz

Lorenzo Toth Diaz, age 53, of Woodhaven, Michigan and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital. He was born in Toledo April 29, 1968 to his parents, Lorenzo and Joanne Diaz. Lorenzo was employed as a window installer for many years. In his younger years, he enjoyed earning his black belt in karate, and breakdancing. His purpose in life was truly to make people laugh! Everywhere he went he spread joy and laughter! His favorite thing to do was visiting family and friends to share a coffee with them, and just "chopping it up". He especially loved his precious dog, GiGi. Everyone will miss him dearly but he left us many funny stories and happy memories to live in our hearts forever. Lorenzo is survived by his children, Lorenzo Diaz II, Victoria L. Ortega, Neria Tefft, Berenice Gonzales. He is also survived by his siblings, Diane Diaz Hinojoza, Josefina Diaz Saldivar, James (Jimmy) Diaz, and his grandchildren, and a significant other, Genny Daniels. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until the time of Services at 1 PM at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (3219 Tremainsville @ Alexis, 419-269-1111.
