Lisa M. Sapara (nee DeSilvio), 65, of Perrysburg, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully with her family at her side on July 14, 2022. Lisa was born on August 23, 1956 to Gabriel and Elizabeth DeSilvio (both deceased) and is now reunited with them. Lisa was the loving wife and soul mate to Michael A. Sapara for 32 wonderful years. She is survived by her brother, Mark (Rosemary), her sister-in-law, Angela Skaff (Corey), brother-in-law, Matthew Sapara, her nephews, Tom DeSilvio, Michael Sapara and Douglas Skaff, and her niece, Katie Skaff. Lisa was a wonderful friend to so many. Her bright smile and big heart will be greatly missed.
Lisa was a very talented crafter and baker, volunteering her talent and time at St. Jerome’s decorating the Church for holidays, baking for events, or being a Good Samaritan to those in need. She will also be missed by her four-legged friends who held a special place in her heart. Lisa’s family extends a special thank you to the nursing staff at Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital second floor ICU and PICU units for their wonderful care.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19 from 3-7 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 20 th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 300 Warner Street, Walbridge, Ohio 43465. Internment at Knollwood Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio will be private.
