Linda M. Critten

Linda M. Critten, 73, of Sylvania, Ohio died peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 at her home. She was born in Toledo on April 22, 1944 to Leslie C. and Lillian R. (Dupuis) Russell. She graduated from Whitmer High School in 1962. Linda was an Office Manager at Freightliner in Monroe, Michigan where she retired in 2007. She was a lifelong member of Beta Sigma Phi. Linda loved sailing and passed that on to her children. She was a past Commodore of the Western Lake Erie Sailing Club, and a former member of Jolly Rogers Sailing Club and Cooley Canal Yacht Club. Linda also was very active in the Junior Sailing Club that her children were in. Linda is survived by her significant other of 12 years, Roy Gueldenzoph; daughter, Timi (Kurt Zurawski) Taylor; son, Scott (Deb) Critten; grandchildren, Caleb Critten, Jacob Critten, Austin Shaffer, Anthony (Allison) Shaffer, Sean Critten and Brenna Taylor; great granddaughter, Avery Critten; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Leslie Skip Russell and Lillian Dolly Heinze. Friends will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Trilby (formally H. H.
